Lorhiti is one of the more accessible places to stay on Lord Howe Island. It offers six one-bedroom garden apartments in a tranquil setting. As it’s just a stone’s throw from Ned’s Beach, guests can wander down and lay on the pristine white sand, or take a dip in the warm blue waters.

It is a top snorkelling site too, and visitors can explore the colourful marine life of the reef that includes coral, crabs, sea cucumbers, starfish, and other tropical fish.

Lorhiti on Lord Howe Island

Each of the apartments is well-equipped and furnished to provide a comfortable stay for two adults. There is a separate bedroom, a kitchen, and cosy lounge area.

At the front of the apartment is a veranda with an outside setting. Here, you can also cook on the gas barbecue.

Hospitality at Lorhiti is excellent. Reception staff will meet all enquiries and needs for the duration of your stay, and on arrival guests are provided with fresh towels and linen, complimentary insect spray to keep the bugs at bay, and other items that might be needed to make a stay comfortable – such as an umbrella in case of an unfortunate spot of rain.

All of the Lorhiti apartments are equipped with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The staff will offer a selection of free DVD movies to choose from. Free WiFi is provided throughout the complex.

The guest area of Lorhiti also has a book exchange and a waiting room for those in transit, making stays as comfortable as possible from start to finish.

Lorhiti provides guests a free airport transfer service, as well as a free shuttle to the restaurants each evening. However, all of the best restaurants and cafés are located within walking distance of Lorhiti, just another great reason to choose this place over others on the island.

As well as being close to Ned’s Beach, Lorhiti is only minutes away from the famous Lagoon, a popular relaxation spot on Lord Howe Island.
